Job Purpose We are seeking a technically competent and proactive Civil Engineer for our Head Office in Lucknow. The role involves project planning and scheduling, site monitoring, billing assistance, quantity surveying, rate analysis, cost estimation, and preparation of project progress reports.

The candidate will coordinate with project teams, undertake regular site visits, monitor project performance, and support management in ensuring effective planning, execution, and control of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities A. Project Planning Scheduling

- Prepare project schedules, work programmes, and activity-wise timelines using MS Project and MS Excel.
- Develop and maintain Gantt charts, bar charts, and project progress trackers.
- Monitor planned versus actual progress, identify delays, and support the preparation of corrective action plans.
- Assist in resource planning and construction activity sequencing.

B. Site Monitoring Project Coordination

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor physical progress, work quality, manpower deployment, and execution status.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Identify site-level issues and communicate progress, constraints, and corrective actions to management.
- Support construction management and ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.

C. Billing, Quantity Surveying Cost Control

- Assist in the preparation and verification of RA bills, measurement sheets, BOQs, and billing documentation.
- Perform quantity estimation, quantity take-offs, and verification of executed quantities.
- Prepare rate analysis, cost estimates, and comparative statements as required.
- Support project costing, budget monitoring,



and cost-control activities.

D. Reporting, Documentation MIS

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports and site visit reports.
- Maintain project schedules, measurement records, cost data, and relevant technical documentation.
- Prepare progress charts, variance reports, and management updates using MS Excel and other relevant tools.
- Highlight deviations in project timelines, quantities, costs, and execution progress.

E. Quality Compliance

- Support site teams in maintaining construction quality and compliance with technical specifications.
- Review relevant project documents and coordinate for timely resolution of execution-related issues.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in railway infrastructure, EPC, or civil construction projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Project or equivalent project scheduling tools.
- Practical understanding of project planning, scheduling, Gantt charts, and progress monitoring.
- Knowledge of rate analysis, quantity surveying, estimation, costing, BOQs, and RA billing.
- Understanding of construction management and project documentation.
- Robust analytical, coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across assigned locations.
