JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Electrical & Hardware Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, electronic circuits, and hardware components to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe product performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Electrical Circuit Design: Design electrical and electronic circuits for embedded systems.
- Power Calculations: Perform system-level and PCB-level power budgeting,



voltage/current calculations, peak load analysis, power loss, efficiency, and thermal dissipation calculations.
- Power PCB Design: Develop schematics and PCB layouts for power boards using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
- Component Selection: Select appropriate electrical and electronic components and maintain BOM.
- Power Supply Design: Design and validate power management circuits, protection circuits, ensuring stable and efficient operation.
- Hardware Testing and Debugging: Perform PCB bring-up, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
- Thermal and Reliability Analysis: Evaluate component temperature, PCB current capacity, voltage drops, power losses to ensure reliable operation.
- Product Development and Documentation: Own hardware development from requirements analysis to prototype validation and production release.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with embedded firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve hardware issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic hardware design and product development.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or equivalent.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical and electronic circuit design.
- Hands-on experience in power calculations, component selection, and power PCB design.
- Proficiency in at least one PCB design tool and familiarity with circuit simulation.
- Practical experience in hardware testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of DC-DC converters, voltage regulators, protection circuits, thermal analysis, and EMI/EMC fundamentals.
