Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

- Prepare and finalize drawings utilizing AutoCAD in a fast-paced workplace that demands accuracy and proficiency.

- Fully Familiarized with AutoCAD tool and its function.

- Maintain good working knowledge of internal and client CAD standards

- Min 4 years of relevant experience in Industrial complexes design worked in Design / Consultancy Organizations

Responsibilities

- Prepare, Check the following

- Generate 2D drawings which is extracted from Revit 3D model.

- Preparation of Lighting, Lightning, Earthing, Power & Cable Tray Layouts, supports & Its necessary accessories.

- Preparation of Equipment Layout like Panels, Transformers, Junction Box's, Receptacles, LCS, MCT's, Battery with racks, Lighting Switches, Sockets, Etc.

- Preparation of Single Line Diagrams, wiring & schematic diagrams

- Preparation of standard installation sketches

- Material Take Off (MTO) preparation .

- Self-check all work and check the work of others as required.

- Assist in the gathering of survey information and the development of plans and maps from field notes.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Inter-discipline Coordination





- Good verbal and written communication.

- Ensure that Company standards and procedures are followed including Department QA/QC procedures

- Provide CAD support to other disciplines as needed

Core Competencies

- Autocad

- Working knowledge in lighting software such as Dialux

- Navisworks Manage/Simulation

- AutoCAD Design review

- Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Tray Sizing, Lighting Design, Cable schedule preparation will be an added advantage.

- Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to understand engineering mark-up drawings and familiarity with discipline symbols

- Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative showing good organizational skills.

- Clear and structured communication

- Good team working, with the ability to interact with multi-disciplinary engineering and design teams.

- Work independently and professionally with little supervision

- Co-operative, supportive and willing to learn

- Highly structured, systematic and organized

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
