Job Purpose To prepare, modify and develop electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD for LT Electrical Panels, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with project specifications and timely submission of drawings for production and customer approval.

1. Roles & Responsibilities

A. Electrical Drawing Preparation
- Prepare electrical drawings for LT Panels using AutoCAD.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Three Line Diagrams.
- Prepare Power Circuit and Control Circuit drawings.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Prepare panel internal layout and component mounting drawings.
- Prepare panel wiring and interconnection diagrams.
- Develop terminal connection and cable termination drawings.

B. LT Panel Design Support Prepare drawings for various types of electrical panels, including:
- PCC – Power Control Centre.
- MCC – Motor Control Centre.
- APFC – Automatic Power Factor Control Panel.
- AMF – Auto Mains Failure Panel.
- Synchronisation Panels.
- Distribution Boards and Feeder Pillar Panels.
- VFD / Soft Starter Panels.

C. Technical Drawing & Documentation
- Interpret customer specifications, electrical schematics and technical requirements.
- Incorporate design changes and customer comments into drawings.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Ensure proper component tagging, wire numbering and terminal numbering.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation records.
- Prepare drawings for customer approval and production release.

D. Coordination & Production Support
- Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineers and Production Teams.
- Clarify drawing-related technical queries from the shop floor.




- Modify drawings based on production feedback and approved changes.
- Ensure drawings are released to production within project timelines.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for technical component details whenever required.

1. Technical Skills Required

- Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to prepare and interpret electrical SLDs.
- Knowledge of LT Panel GA and internal layout drawings.
- Understanding of power and control circuit diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, meters and protection devices.
- Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and control logic.
- Knowledge of electrical panel BOM preparation.
- Familiarity with drawing standards, layers, blocks, dimensions and revision control.
- Ability to work independently and complete drawings within deadlines.

1. Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering preferred.

1. Experience Required

- 2–5 years of experience in Electrical AutoCAD drafting.
- Experience in LT Electrical Panel Design / Manufacturing is preferred.
- Candidates with practical experience in PCC, MCC, APFC and other LT Panel drawings will be given preference.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy of electrical drawings.
- Timely completion and submission of drawings.
- Minimum drawing errors and revisions.
- Proper BOM and component documentation.
- Effective coordination with production and engineering teams.
- Adherence to customer specifications and approved drawings.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
