Role Summary The Electrical Engineer - Lime Calcination Plant is responsible for operation and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure protected, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of HT/LT systems, motors, control panels, and instrumentation supporting lime calcination processes.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Operations & Maintenance

- Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution systems
- Ensure smooth functioning of motor controls, lighting circuits, and plant-wide electrical infrastructure
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment

Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis

- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in kilns, grinding units, and material handling systems
- Conduct insulation resistance testing and thermography of panels and cables
- Troubleshoot control circuit issues and ensure minimal downtime

Instrumentation & Control Support

- Ensure proper functioning and calibration of load cells, temperature sensors,



pressure transmitters, and flow meters
- Support automation and control system reliability

Coordination & Plant Support

- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for continuous plant operations
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical systems
- Support shutdown planning and maintenance execution

Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain electrical maintenance logs and spares inventory records
- Ensure timely procurement of critical components
- Implement electrical safety measures and ensure statutory compliance

Required Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience & Industry Background

- 5-8 years of experience in lime or cement manufacturing plants
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of HT/LT systems, motors, starters, transformers, and VFDs

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems
- Hands-on troubleshooting capability in continuous process plants
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and statutory requirements
- Ability to work in coordination with cross-functional plant teams
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
