Required Skills:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Financial Crimes, Screening & Investigations, Adverse/Negative News Screening, KYC, AML, Due Diligence, Compliance, Sanctions Screening, or a related risk management function.

- University degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

- Experience conducting research, analyzing complex information, and documenting investigation findings and risk-based decisions.

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge and understanding of Adverse/Negative News screening and investigation processes.

- Good understanding of AML, BSA, KYC, financial crime, sanctions, and reputational risk concepts.

- Strong research and investigative skills with the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources.

- Ability to perform effective name-match analysis using customer identifiers and contextual information.

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to distinguish relevant adverse information from false positives or unrelated information.

- Ability to interpret policies, procedures,



and decision criteria and apply them consistently to investigation scenarios

- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and defensible investigation summaries and disposition rationales.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing high-volume case assignments.

- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet established quality, productivity, and SLA requirements.

- Ability to identify potential risks and appropriately escalate complex or higher-risk findings.

- Robust organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

- Experience supporting training, coaching, procedure development, or subject matter expertise is preferred.
