Responsibilities: During the employment in GRSE, the persons engaged as DRIVER (VEHICLE) should behave in a manner befitting as a member of Defence PSU. An indicative list of Duties and Responsibilities (Summary) as applicable from time to time is given below:
- 1. Read and write including reading of easy sketches etc. instructions, digits and perform, simple calculations related to trade.
- Drive the vehicles safely as per the Motor Vehicles Act/Traffic Regulations. Follow the official /shortest route, diversions of routes if necessary, stoppages of vehicles, duration of waiting etc. as directed by the monitor / passenger to whom the vehicle is allotted.
- Check oils (fuel/lubricants), water/coolant in Radiator, Horns, Tyres, Light, Brakes etc. and note the amount of fuel draw
