Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Dispatch Officer to oversee and coordinate dispatch operations in a Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing Plant. The position requires strong knowledge of finished-goods dispatch, logistics coordination, documentation, vehicle management and inventory movement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily finished-goods dispatch operations.
- Plan dispatch schedules based on customer orders and production availability.
- Coordinate with production, quality, stores, sales and logistics departments.
- Ensure dispatches are carried out according to customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Verify material specifications, pipe sizes, quantities and dispatch documentation.
- Supervise vehicle placement, loading activities and weighbridge operations.
- Ensure proper preparation and verification of invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans and gate passes.
- Monitor vehicle availability, transportation schedules and delivery status.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and MIS reports.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly dispatch targets.
- Handle transporter coordination and resolve vehicle-placement issues.




- Ensure proper documentation for inter-state and intra-state material movement.
- Coordinate with SAP/ERP teams for dispatch entries and material movement.
- Ensure compliance with company dispatch procedures and safety requirements.
- Lead dispatch-related coordination and ensure smooth operations during shift duties.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial dispatch and logistics management.
- Knowledge of SAP SD/MM or other ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and dispatch MIS reporting.
- Understanding of GST invoices, e-way bills and delivery documentation.
- Knowledge of weighbridge operations and vehicle management.
- Understanding of finished-goods inventory and material reconciliation.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving and team-handling skills.

Qualification Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or a relevant discipline.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in Ductile Iron Pipe, steel, iron manufacturing, foundry, cement or heavy manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
