Role Overview:

As the Director – HR Plant Head, you will serve as the strategic custodian of the site's human capital, balancing organizational objectives with the operational realities of a manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with the Plant Head and act as the primary interface between shop-floor operations, corporate leadership, and external regulatory bodies.

The role involves driving a high-performance culture, ensuring seamless industrial relations, managing statutory compliance, and leading organizational development initiatives that directly impact plant productivity, employee engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Industrial Relations strategy, including union management, negotiations, and long-term settlements to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Manage the complete spectrum of Plant HR operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and capability building.
- Oversee statutory compliance and liaison with government authorities, ensuring adherence to applicable labour laws and safety regulations.
- Drive organizational development, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Partner with senior leadership to translate business objectives into effective HR strategies.
- Mentor and develop the on-site HR team to support business growth and operational requirements.

Required Skillset:

- 18–25 years of progressive experience in Plant HR and Industrial Relations, preferably in large-scale manufacturing organizations.
- Strong expertise in Industrial Relations, trade union management, collective bargaining, and long-term settlements.
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and government liaison.
- Proven experience in managing large, multi-shift manufacturing workforces.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strategic HR leadership capabilities with a track record of improving workforce productivity and organizational effectiveness.
- Postgraduate degree in HR / Personnel Management from a premier institute.
- Fluency in Marathi is mandatory , with the ability to communicate effectively with workers, unions, and local authorities.
- Willingness to work full-time from the plant location and maintain a hands-on presence on the shop floor.

Important Location Requirement: Nira, Maharashtra – This is a full-time, in office leadership role. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Nira. Marathi language proficiency is mandatory.
