1.Role & responsibilities

1.Conduct 100% layout inspection of plastic injection moulded parts as per drawing, 3D data and customer standards.

2.Check all critical dimensions, critical to quality (CTQ) and critical to safety (CTS) parameters.

3.Use instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector, Hardness Tester, Weighing Machine.

4.Operate advanced equipment like CMM, Contour Tracer, Roughness Tester, Colour Matching, Gloss Meter as required.

5.Verify part appearance, warpage, sink marks, flash, short moulding, splay, and other moulding defects.

Preferred candidate profile

1.2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Layout / Dimensional Inspection

2.Must have experience in Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred)

3.Experience in TACO / similar OEM supplier base will be an added advantage

4.Strong knowledge of Engineering Drawing reading & GD&T;





5.Hands-on experience with Measuring Instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Profile Projector

6.Working knowledge of CMM Operation & Reporting (Desirable)

7.Knowledge of Plastic Moulding Defects: Flash, Short Shot, Sink Mark, Warpage, Splay

8.Knowledge of Layout Inspection Report (LIR), FAI & PPAP Documentation
