About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Artist to support a project focused on evaluating and improving AI-generated images.

In this role, you will use your creative and technical expertise to compare original digital artwork or photographs with AI-generated images. You will identify visual differences, detect image artifacts, and provide precise, constructive feedback to help improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated imagery.

This opportunity is suited to professionals with experience in digital art, image editing, photography, or related creative disciplines who excel at visual analysis and detailed critique. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Upload original digital images or photographs in accordance with project specifications.

- Conduct side-by-side evaluations of original artwork or photographs and AI-generated counterparts.

- Identify and document visible differences, inconsistencies, and deviations.

- Assess anatomy, color, lighting, perspective, texture, and fine detail.

- Detect and describe AI-generated artifacts, including distorted anatomy, broken or smeared textures, inconsistent shadows, irregular reflections, and malformed text.

- Provide concise, technically exact written feedback using industry-standard visual terminology.

- Reference specific locations within images when describing flaws or inconsistencies.

- Conduct thorough, methodical reviews, prioritizing accuracy and visual detail.

- Collaborate with project coordinators and other contributors to maintain consistent evaluation standards.





Required Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience in digital art, retouching, compositing, 3D rendering, graphic design, color grading, photography, or a related field.

- A portfolio demonstrating original creative work.

- Strong visual analysis skills and exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to identify subtle differences between original and AI-generated images.

- Familiarity with common AI image artifacts and visual inconsistencies.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with precise descriptive and technical visual vocabulary.

- Ability to provide constructive feedback and follow project specifications.

- Located in the United States with valid authorization to contract within the country.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency with image creation and editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Procreate, Blender, or similar platforms.

- Basic understanding of AI image generation processes and common model failure points.

- Familiarity with tools or platforms such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, or Flux.

- Experience in image evaluation, data annotation, or quality assurance within creative or technical projects.
