Role Description The Deputy Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Deputy

Manager will oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including coordination of transport network activities, warehouse and distribution planning, and execution of 3PL services to meet client requirements. This role involves monitoring operational performance, managing teams, resolving service issues, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes, support digitalization initiatives,



and drive cost and efficiency optimization. The role also includes preparing regular reports, supporting business reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Robust operational management skills, including experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.

- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Excel or other operational tools to track performance and KPIs.

- Effective people management capabilities, with experience leading teams, coordinating shifts, and managing vendor or partner relationships.

- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with clients, internal departments, and on-ground operations staff.

- Ability to manage on-site operations in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under time and resource constraints.

- Understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards in logistics and transport operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant manager/deputy manager role within logistics, 3PL, or transportation is preferred.

- Familiarity with digital logistics platforms, WMS/TMS, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
