About the internship

Medinex Workforce has years of hiring history: which sourcing channels brought robust candidates, how long each type of role took to fill, where applicants dropped out, and which clients renewed. That history holds answers, but only if someone explores it carefully and tests ideas against it. This internship puts you in that role. You will work on real business questions, learn how data scientists choose the right method, and practise explaining results to people who are not technical.

What you will do

- Clean and prepare recruitment datasets using Python, Pandas and NumPy
- Explore data to find patterns, outliers and relationships
- Apply statistical methods such as correlation, hypothesis testing and regression
- Build simple predictive models, for example to estimate how long a role may take to fill
- Check model performance with the right metrics and note its limits honestly
- Create clear charts using Matplotlib, Seaborn or Power BI
- Write short findings that non-technical team members can act on
- Document your notebooks so others can repeat your work

What we are looking for
- Good working knowledge of Python, especially Pandas and NumPy




- Understanding of basic statistics (mean, variance, distributions, probability)
- Familiarity with Matplotlib, Seaborn or a similar visualisation library
- Comfort with open-ended problems and checking whether an idea holds up
- Clear written English for explaining results
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work

Nice to have
- Basic SQL
- Exposure to Scikit-learn
- A Kaggle notebook, GitHub project or certificate

Who can apply
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (Statistics, Maths, CS, IT), MCA, M.Sc, MBA (Analytics) or related streams
- Self-taught learners who can show a project or certificate
- Freshers are welcome, and prior experience is not required
- You must be available full-time for the internship period
