Role Overview We are looking for a Data Platform Operations Engineer to support day-to-day operations,

administration, governance, and reliability of the enterprise data platform. The role will work across multiple data technologies and support access management, platform administration, integrations, CI/CD, governance, and operational improvements .

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations and administration of enterprise data platforms.

Handle access management, provisioning, configuration, and governance activities.

Support Snowflake operations including roles/access, databases, schemas, objects,

integrations, and governance.

Support Fivetran connectivity, ingestion, pipeline health, and operational issues.

Support dbt Cloud access, project setup, CI/CD, Data Mesh initiatives, and governance.

Support Atlan observability, lineage, feature enablement, and maintenance.

Manage GitHub repository access, administration, and governance .

Provide administrative and operational support for legacy platforms such as Airflow and troubleshoot complex issues.

Support new platform integrations, security reviews, audit/compliance activities, and operational mandates.

Contribute to CI/CD automation, monitoring, process improvement, and operational efficiency .

Maintain runbooks and documentation and collaborate with Engineering, Security,

Analytics, and Platform teams.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience in Data Platform Operations,



DataOps, Cloud Operations,

or a similar role .

Robust understanding of DataOps, data platforms, data pipelines, and production operations .

Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake .

Experience with Snowflake access management, roles, databases, schemas,

objects, and governance .

Experience with CI/CD and Git/GitHub .

Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis skills.

Experience with platform administration, access provisioning, and operational governance.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to quickly learn and support new tools and technologies .

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Atlan, or Airflow .

Python/scripting experience for automation and operational improvements .

Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, or observability/monitoring tools .

Knowledge of FinOps, Snowflake cost optimization, and data retention .

Experience with SOX/UAR, audit, compliance, or security reviews .

Exposure to Informatica, Kafka, Databricks, or similar data platforms .

Experience with platform migrations, modernization, or enterprise data integrations.
