Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data DevOps Lead to lead the Data DevOps team in building, managing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and reliable big data platforms. The role requires solid expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Big Data technologies, automation, CI/CD, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage the Data DevOps engineering team.
- Design, implement, and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure and big data platforms.
- Manage AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, EMR, EKS, SageMaker, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Manage and optimize big data technologies such as Kafka, Hive HMS, Apache Ranger, Airflow, Spark, Trino, and EMR.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Manage Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and ECS environments.
- Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, monitoring, and SLA adherence.
- Drive incident management, system observability,



and cloud cost optimization.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams.
- Ensure cloud security best practices, including API security, TLS/HTTPS, and access management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Data DevOps, or related domains.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies: Kafka, Hive HMS, Apache Ranger, Airflow, EMR, Spark, and Trino.
- Experience with Looker and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, ECS, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance.
- Proven experience in team leadership and managing large-scale data infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and data query optimization will be an added advantage.
