Role & responsibilities

1. Research and lead generation Research and build lists of HORECA businesses, malls and other hospitality clients across target cities and regions. Use online channels (Google Maps, Zomato, Swiggy, JustDial, LinkedIn, company websites, industry directories) and offline channels (market visits, trade fairs, local associations, field calls). Capture key details for each lead: business name, category, location, size, decisionmaker, contact details and source.
2. Data management and quality Actively update and maintain the database so it stays accurate, complete and current. Clean, de-duplicate and standardise entries using a consistent format and naming convention. Verify contact details and flag outdated or closed businesses.
3. Coordination with team owners Liaise with sales team owners to understand target segments and priorities. Share regular updates on lists created, progress against targets and data coverage.



Incorporate feedback from the sales team to improve list quality.
4. Reporting and insights Prepare simple summaries of the database (counts by city, segment, status). Highlight trends or gaps spotted during research, such as new openings or undercovered areas.

Preferred candidate profile Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets: sorting, filtering, basic formulas Understanding of primary research (calls, field visits, surveys) and secondary research (online sources, directories, reports). Strong attention to detail and a habit of keeping data clean and consistent. Transparent written and spoken communication in English; Ability to work independently, manage time and meet weekly targets.
