Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and skilled Dance Teacher to train students in various dance forms, develop their artistic abilities, and prepare them for school functions, competitions, and cultural events.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach various dance forms, including Bollywood, contemporary, classical, folk, and other relevant styles.
- Plan and conduct structured dance classes according to students' age groups and skill levels.
- Prepare students for annual functions, assemblies, inter-school competitions, cultural programs, and special celebrations.
- Choreograph dance performances for school events and functions.
- Develop students' rhythm, coordination, flexibility, expressions, confidence, and stage presence.
- Ensure proper warm-up, stretching, and safe dance practices during classes.
- Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances.
- Coordinate with the school management and other teachers for event planning and execution.
- Select suitable music and design age-appropriate dance routines.
- Maintain regular attendance and records of students participating in dance activities.
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, and active participation in co-curricular activities.
- Assist in planning costumes, props, and stage arrangements for dance performances.

Educational Qualifications




- A degree or diploma in Dance or Performing Arts is preferred.
- Relevant dance training or certification will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in a school or educational institution is preferred.
- Strong choreography, communication, and classroom management skills are essential.

Experience
- Prior experience as a Dance Teacher in a school or educational institution is preferred.
- Experience in choreography and preparing students for stage performances is desirable.

- Solid dancing and choreography skills.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging dance routines.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of different age groups.
- Good organizational and event management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school management.

Additional Requirements
- Willingness to participate in school events, rehearsals, and cultural programs as required.
- Ability to manage group performances and work under event deadlines.
- A positive attitude, professional conduct, and passion for teaching dance.
