What you will do

Teach cyber security basics: networking, Linux and Windows security, web app security (OWASP Top 10) and vulnerability assessment

Teach cloud security on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud: IAM, network controls, logging, misconfiguration checks and cloud incident response

Teach SOC work from L1 to L3: alert triage, investigation, incident response, threat hunting and writing detection rules on a SIEM

Teach GenAI security: securing LLM apps, RAG, AI agents and MCP, prompt injection, authorised AI red teaming and AI governance

Run hands-on labs, guide student projects and review their reports and presentations

Must have

5+ years in cyber security, with real work in security operations (SOC) and cloud security

Teaching or corporate training experience

SOC: has worked L2 or L3 level, handled real incidents, and can coach L1 analysts on triage and escalation.

SIEM and EDR hands-on (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, CrowdStrike, Defender or similar), and writing detection rules.

Cloud security hands-on on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.





1+ year hands-on securing or testing LLM apps, RAG systems or AI agents; knows the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and MITRE ATLAS.

Knows MITRE ATT&CK;, threat modelling, and writing authorised test plans and security reports

Python or scripting for automation and test tools

Strong on ethics: tests only systems we own or have written permission to test

Can explain hard ideas in plain English, and in Telugu or Hindi when a student is stuck .

Valuable to have

Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+ or CySA+, OSCP, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, Google Qualified Cloud Security Engineer or CCSP

SOAR and playbook automation, and digital forensics

AI red teaming tools (Garak, PyRIT, promptfoo or similar)

AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and India's DPDP Act

CTF organising or a bug bounty record
