Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced R2R / General Ledger Analyst with 3–5 years of relevant experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to meet strict financial closing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial closure.

- Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.

- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.

- Manage accruals, provisions, and other general ledger accounting activities.

- Support financial reporting and ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.

- Investigate and resolve accounting mismatches, unusual balances, and open items.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

- Support SOX controls, internal audits, and external audit activities.

- Handle intercompany accounting transactions and fixed asset accounting, where applicable.

- Work with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills





- 3–5 years of relevant experience in R2R / General Ledger / Financial Accounting.

- Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries.

- Experience in balance sheet account reconciliations.

- Knowledge of accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems.

- Exposure to SOX controls and audit processes.

- Experience working in Shared Services or multinational organizations.

- Knowledge of intercompany accounting and fixed asset accounting.

- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification (completed or pursuing).
