Key Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python 3.10 and FastAPI.

Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Build and support BFF layers that enable seamless frontend integration.

Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and developers to deliver product enhancements.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across APIs, databases, logs, deployments,



and frontend interactions.

Create and execute unit, integration, and API tests to ensure application quality.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and design discussions.

Support CI/CD processes, containerization, and deployment activities.

Assist in root-cause analysis, issue triaging, and continuous product improvement.

Contribute to engineering best practices, process improvements, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Experience & Requirements

- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience in Python development, preferably Python 3.10.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Uvicorn.
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding of data validation, error handling, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience building or maintaining BFF architectures.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application layers.
- Experience designing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and API tests.
- Knowledge of service-to-service communication patterns.
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
