URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGIST

Valid NMC / Uttar Pradesh Medical Council Registration

Fresh DM/DrNB candidates can be considered
Candidates will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of Senior Gastroenterologists and gain hands-on clinical and procedural experience

SALARY

6 Lakhs – 8 Lakhs per Month
~ Compensation will be based on qualification, experience and clinical expertise

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Gastroenterology OPD consultations
Manage IPD and emergency gastroenterology cases
Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders
Manage conditions including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis and other GI disorders
Evaluate and manage gastrointestinal bleeding and other gastroenterological emergencies
Assist/perform endoscopic procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy under appropriate supervision and as per hospital privileges
Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide follow-up care
Coordinate with Senior Gastroenterologists, General Physicians, Surgeons, Intensivists and other specialists
Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes and discharge summaries




Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, diet, lifestyle and follow-up
Follow hospital, infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols

LEARNING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Fresh DM/DrNB candidates will receive structured clinical guidance from Senior Gastroenterologists
Opportunity to develop strong hands-on skills in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy
Exposure to a wide range of GI, Hepatology and emergency cases
Participation in departmental academic activities and case discussions
Skills Required
Strong clinical knowledge of Gastroenterology
Good diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
Interest in therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopy
Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
Willingness to learn and work under senior guidance
Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
