We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the close, the accounting team, and day-to-day accounting operations of a high-growth US company, working remotely from India.

You will be accountable for the quality and timeliness of what the team produces, not only the work you prepare yourself. You will work directly with the Controller, CFO, or founders, presenting close results, material variances, and open risks.

Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements before they reach leadership, applying US GAAP consistently.

Accounting operations. Oversee the general ledger, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and cash reconciliation.

Controls and audit. Maintain accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls,



and coordinate audits and tax requests with external firms.

7+ years of accounting experience, including close leadership or formal review responsibility

- Experience managing, mentoring, or reviewing the work of accountants
- Hands-on US GAAP close and reporting experience
- Strong command of accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement review
- Experience supporting an audit or review
- Experience with a major ERP or accounting system, such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or Xero
- Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to present results to US leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent skilled qualification

CA (ICAI), US CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent

Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Multi-entity, intercompany, or consolidation experience

Experience at a venture-backed or PE-backed US company

Full-time, long-term placement, with MAVI handling cross-border contracts, compliance, and payroll

USD-denominated compensation aligned with experience and scope

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
