Salary: 20,000 – 27,000 per month, based on experience

We work with farmers, buyers and institutions across Tamil Nadu, and we run the business on clear, accurate numbers.

About the role We are looking for an Accountant to own Greenzy's day-to-day books,

GST

, payments and monthly MIS. You will work from our farm office, keep our accounts audit-ready, and give management a transparent monthly picture of how the business is doing.

Key responsibilities Bookkeeping and accounts
Record all transactions — sales, purchases, expenses, farmer settlements and receipts — in Zoho Books / Tally, accurately and on time
Maintain ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents, ready for audit at any time
Complete month-end closing and reconciliations
GST
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) on time
Reconcile input tax credit with GSTR-2B and follow up with vendors on mismatches
Payments and banking
Carry out regular bank reconciliations
Manage the petty cash — cash book, cash register, vouchers and daily balance
MIS and reporting
Prepare the monthly MIS: P&L;, cash flow, receivables and payables ageing, expense summaries and business-wise costs




Build and maintain clean Excel trackers, and present summaries in PowerPoint for review meetings with the Finance Lead and management
Support the external auditor / CA with data, schedules and documents
Field travel
~ Visit banks, vendors and Coimbatore city offices as needed, on your own two-wheeler

B.Com with 3–5 years of accounting experience, or M.Com with at least 3 years
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally
Strong basic accountancy — journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, month-end closing
Practical experience filing GST returns
Excellent Excel skills — formulas, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, pivot tables, clean report formatting
Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence
Fluent in Tamil; able to read and write English
Experience in agriculture, trading or a growing small business
