We are looking for a hands-on Java Tech Lead who can lead the technical design and development of modern, scalable applications while remaining deeply involved in coding and engineering activities.

The ideal candidate will have solid expertise across the Full-Stack, with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React or Angular on the frontend.

The candidate should also have practical experience using Generative AI and AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve developer productivity, software quality, automation, and engineering velocity.

Define application architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering practices.

Make pragmatic technology and architecture decisions balancing scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and time-to-market.

Hands-on Full-Stack Development

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and implement frontend applications using React / Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript.

Work across the complete application stack-from UI and APIs to databases, messaging, and cloud infrastructure.

Participate actively in coding, debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization.

Design and implement automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.

Java & Backend Engineering

Strong hands-on experience with:

Java 11/17/21+

Spring Boot

Spring Framework / Spring Security

JPA / Hibernate

SQL and relational databases

NoSQL databases

Kafka or other event-driven/messaging technologies

JVM performance tuning

Frontend Engineering





Hands-on experience with one or more modern frontend ecosystems:

React / Angular

TypeScript

JavaScript

Responsive web application development

Frontend testing frameworks

The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting issues across the UI API service database stack.

AI-Based Software Engineering

The candidate should understand and demonstrate practical adoption of AI across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Amazon Q Developer, or equivalent AI engineering tools is desirable.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate how AI can be integrated into engineering workflows rather than simply using AI as a coding assistant.

Cloud & DevOps

Experience with modern cloud-native engineering practices:

AWS / Azure / GCP

Docker

Kubernetes

Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps

Observability and monitoring

Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment is highly desirable.

Software Architecture

10-15+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on Java development experience.

Strong Spring Boot / Microservices experience.

Hands-on Full-Stack development experience.

Experience with React or Angular.
