Job Responsibilities

1. Credit Due Diligence: Conduct detailed credit due diligence on corporate borrowers, including assessment of business model, management, industry dynamics, competitive positioning, financial performance and key credit risks. Prepare detailed credit proposals for review and presentation to senior team members, RMs and Credit Approval Authorities
2. Financial Analysis & Modelling: Perform comprehensive financial analysis and credit modelling, including historical financial statement analysis, projections, cash-flow assessment, leverage and debt-servicing analysis, sensitivity/stress testing and evaluation of key credit metrics.
3. Transaction & Structural Analysis: Analyse proposed financing transactions, including transaction rationale, financing structure, repayment capacity, security/collateral, guarantees, covenants and other structural protections.
4. Sector & Industry Analysis: Develop sector expertise and undertake industry and peer analysis to assess sector trends, relative financial performance, competitive positioning and emerging risks relevant to the borrower.
5. Documentation: Develop a strong understanding of financing structures and legal documentation and support the review of term sheets, facility agreements and other credit-related documentation.
6. Portfolio Monitoring:



Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, including periodic review of borrower financial performance, covenant compliance, changes in credit profile and identification of early warning indicators or credit deterioration.
7. MIS, Portfolio Analysis & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely credit, financial and transaction information in relevant internal systems and support periodic/ad-hoc reporting and analysis covering portfolio performance, credit quality, sector/concentration exposures and other relevant credit metrics.
8. Audit, Controls & Process Improvement: Support in internal/external audits, regulatory reviews and other credit-related reviews. Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening analytical standards, financial modelling, credit processes, and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
1. Work Experience: 2-6 years
2. Credit analysis experience along with detailed memo writing and financial modeling
3. Knowledge of Indian sector will be an added advantage.
4. CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
5. Additional qualified qualifications for credit risk management will be an advantage.
6. Preferably employed with a Global Bank currently.
