Experience Required

- Commis 1: 1to 3years of experience.
- CDP: 4 to 5 years of experience.

1. Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per hotel and resort standards.
2. Handle daily mise en place, food preparation and cooking activities.
3. Prepare pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, salads, sauces and main-course dishes.
4. Prepare grilled chicken, fish, steaks, risotto and other Continental specialities.
5. Maintain consistency in food taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
6. Assist in menu preparation, buffet setup and la carte operations.
7. Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff wherever required.
8. Ensure proper food storage, labelling and FIFO procedures.
9. Monitor food wastage, portion control and kitchen inventory.
10. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
11. Follow food safety standards, HACCP guidelines and kitchen SOPs.

Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
13. Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
14. Handle special guest requests and maintain guest satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts.
- Experience in Continental cuisine in a hotel or resort.
- Knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, sauces, soups, pasta, grills and salads.
- Valuable knowledge of food presentation and plating techniques.
- Understanding of food costing, inventory and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a team and handle kitchen operations.
- Leadership and supervisory skills for CDP-level candidates.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile Candidates with experience in luxury hotels, resorts or fine-dining restaurants will be preferred.
