About the Opportunity

Ojas Family Clinic and Children Hospital is developing a modern outpatient healthcare practice in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Consultant Physician to provide adult medical consultations, support preventive healthcare, and contribute to a high standard of clinical care.

The ideal candidate will value transparent patient communication, ethical clinical practice, continuity of care, and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct outpatient consultations for adult patients presenting with common medical complaints.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage conditions within the physician’s qualifications and clinical scope.
- Evaluate and manage appropriate cases involving diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, respiratory complaints, fever, and other common medical conditions.
- Take relevant medical histories and perform appropriate physical examinations.
- Order and interpret investigations when clinically indicated and within professional competence.
- Develop and review treatment plans consistent with accepted standards of care.
- Counsel patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modification, preventive health, and follow-up.
- Identify clinical warning signs and arrange specialist assessment, emergency intervention, or hospital referral when required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and documentation.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up plans to patients and their families.




- Coordinate with the pediatrician and other healthcare professionals when collaboration is needed.
- Follow applicable professional, ethical, infection-control, documentation, and patient-safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine or another appropriate recognized postgraduate qualification for the advertised specialist role.
- Valid medical registration applicable to practice in Gujarat.
- Competence in outpatient medical assessment and patient management.
- More than 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred, particularly in a private clinic, hospital outpatient department, or comparable clinical setting.
- Strong patient communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to recognize clinical warning signs and arrange appropriate escalation or referral.
- Interest in preventive healthcare and continuity of care.
