Core Responsibilities

- Site Inspections &
- Risk Assessment:

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections of scaffolding, heavy equipment, electrical systems, excavations, and fall-protection setups.

- Policy Enforcement &

- PPE Compliance:

Ensure all workers and subcontractors properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety harnesses, goggles, and steel-toed boots.

- Training &

- Tool-Box Talks:

Lead safety orientations for new hires, deliver daily pre-work toolbox talks, and run emergency drills (fire, evacuation, first aid).

- Permit Management: Verify and sign off on Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities like working at heights, confined space entry, or hot work.

- Incident Investigations: Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat occurrences.

- Documentation &

- Compliance:

Maintain accurate safety logs, training records, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs),



and regulatory reports (e.g., OSHA logs or regional building safety acts).

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications: Recognized safety credentials such as BCSP designations (CSP/OSHA credentials), NEBOSH, or local statutory safety officer certifications.

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on safety coordination experience within the construction or heavy industrial sector.

- Skills: Strong working knowledge of fall protection, trenching/excavation safety, heavy machinery hazards, incident reporting software, and clear communication/de-escalation abilities. [1

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
