Position: Pod Lead Chemistry Science

Type: Contract

Compensation: $15 - $28 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 - 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

- Lead a team of trainers developing Chemistry tasks for AI training
- Review tasks for chemical accuracy, reproducibility, and safety
- Mentor trainers while ensuring high-quality delivery of tasks
- Analyze and evaluate training content for grader reliability
- Provide guidance on programming standards and practices
- Collaborate with teams on computational chemistry methodologies
- Communicate findings and updates to project stakeholders

Requirements

- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced expertise in Chemistry
- Robust programming skills in Python, C/C++, Julia, or Fortran
- Hands-on experience with computational chemistry methods
- Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Ability to review code and analyses effectively
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Linux/terminal environments
