Role Overview

We are looking for a Commis II with practical experience in North Indian or South Indian cuisine to support kitchen operations, food preparation, and daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook dishes specialising in either North Indian or South Indian cuisine.
- Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen preparation and production.
- Ensure ingredients are cleaned, cut, portioned, and stored appropriately.
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality.
- Keep the workstation, kitchen equipment, and storage areas clean.
- Monitor ingredient availability and inform senior chefs about stock requirements.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Support smooth kitchen operations during service hours.




- Coordinate with fellow kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis II or in a similar kitchen position.
- Practical knowledge of North Indian or South Indian cuisine. Specialisation in either cuisine is required.
- Understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Good teamwork and time-management skills.
