Opportunity for the Position of CNC Operator cum Programmer

- Designation (Role): CNC Operator cum Programmer
- Department (Functional Area): Production / Sheet Metal
- Reporting To: HOD
- Company/Working Location: Moraiya, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
- Salary: Up to 3.84 LPA (depending on experience)
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Turner, Machinist, or equivalent
- Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Turning / CNC machines as per production requirements and engineering drawings.
- Develop, edit and execute CNC machine programs as per component specifications.
- Operate and program CNC machines using FANUC Controller.




- Perform machine setting, tool setting and job loading/unloading.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds and feeds.
- Set and adjust tool offsets, work offsets and machine parameters.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Optimize machining programs to improve cycle time, tool life and productivity.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Maintain quality standards and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain CNC programs, tool records and machine setup documentation.

Key Skills Required
- Good knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming.
- Hands-on experience with FANUC G & M Codes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, feeds and speeds.
- Experience in machine setting, tool offsets and work offsets.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Height Gauge.
- Knowledge of machining processes and basic troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
