Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate and program CMM machines for dimensional inspection of components.

- Inspect CNC/VMC machined components as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.

- Perform dimensional measurements using CMM and other precision measuring instruments.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols and geometric tolerances.

- Prepare and maintain CMM inspection reports and dimensional measurement records.

- Verify critical dimensions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

- Identify, report and document non-conforming components.

- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve dimensional quality issues.

- Maintain inspection records and calibration status of measuring instruments.

- Follow quality procedures, work instructions and ISO 9001 requirements.

- Support internal audits,



customer audits and continuous improvement activities.

- Maintain 5S and safety standards in the inspection area.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in operating CMM machines.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;

- Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other precision instruments.

- Positive knowledge of dimensional inspection and measurement techniques.

- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Qualification and Experience

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

- 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

- Experience inspecting CNC/VMC machined components is preferred.
