Cluster Manager Commercial Broking 2–4 Years – Bangalore

We are hiring a Cluster Manager – Commercial Broking – 2–4 Years for a leading General Insurance company. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Commercial Insurance, Corporate Broking, Broker Relationship Management, Business Development, GWP Management, Commercial Lines, and Stakeholder Management who can drive business growth, strengthen broker relationships, and achieve business targets across commercial insurance lines.

Location – Bangalore

Your Future Employer – A leading General Insurance organization offering opportunities to grow its commercial insurance business through broker and intermediary relationships, with exposure to mid-to-large-ticket commercial insurance.

Responsibilities –

1. Achieve monthly business targets across assigned commercial lines of business.
2. Manage existing brokers and intermediaries, including renewals and new business development.
3. Identify and onboard new brokers and intermediaries to increase market penetration.
4. Meet service-level turnaround times (TATs) established by the distribution team.
5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations and servicing.
6. Meet clients to strengthen relationships and enhance market presence.
7. Maintain business reports and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
8. Ensure accurate booking of sourced business.
9. Coordinate coinsurance and reinsurance payments.

Requirements –

1. Graduate/Postgraduate with 2–4 years of experience in sales or marketing within the Bangalore insurance market.
2. Experience with General Insurance companies or key brokers in the corporate or broking vertical.
3. Candidates from Corporate Agency channels of General Insurance companies may also be considered.
4. Established broker network and strong market relationships.
5. Experience in mid-to-large-ticket commercial insurance business preferred.
6. Exposure to commercial lines such as Fire & Engineering, Liability, Marine,



and Workmen’s Compensation.
7. Candidates primarily handling Retail, Bancassurance, Agency, or SME Agency channels are not suitable.
8. Candidates focused exclusively on small-ticket SME broking business may not be suitable.
