Role & responsibilities

1. Manage all Direct & Indirect Taxation for the Group.
2. Projections, Budgeting, Forecasting, MIS Reports.
3. Managing Banking loans, relationships & debt facilities.
4. Develop and recommend to the Board an annual operating plan and financial budget that supports the long-term strategy of the Group.
5. Create, coordinate and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the Group.
6. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, where necessary, the internal controls systems within the Group.
7. Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the Group and the operating business units.
8. Ensure proper training of all personnel working on Financial, Accounting, Audit or Fiscal Matters. Oversee and monitor the Corporations Financial Position, Banking and Financing Activities and Capital Structure.
9. Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and compliance for the Corporation.

Assisting in evaluating financial viability of new projects.
11. Suggesting better ways of raising capital, using capital in optimal way to increase ROI.
12. Coordinate the preparation of the Corporations financial statement and management discussion and analysis. (Annual and Interim)
13. Certify documents as required under various laws. (If applicable)
14. Coordinate the annual audit (and any special or non-recurring audit) with the Corporation’s external auditors.
15. Timely monthly reports to other stake holders.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

Certified Chartered Accountant.

Experience

1. 10+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting roles.
2. Minimum 5 years in Real Estate.
3. Ability and proven experience to lead, coach, mentor a team.
4. Willingness to work in high energy, fast and evolving organizational setting.
5. Exceptional business analysis, communication and collaboration skills.
