Role Description The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Bengaluru, responsible for shaping and executing the overall people strategy at InsureMile. This role oversees all HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and succession planning. The CHRO will design and refine HR policies, compensation and benefits frameworks, and organizational development initiatives aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership on workforce planning, guiding people managers on employee relations matters, and promoting a culture of trust,



inclusion, and continuous improvement. The role also involves implementing HR technology solutions, tracking HR metrics, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and leading change management efforts to support InsureMile’s growth.

Qualifications

- Comprehensive Human Resources (HR) expertise, including strategic HR leadership and HR operations management.
- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, foster a positive work environment, and resolve complex workforce issues.
- Demonstrated talent management capabilities, including workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development.
- Robust performance management experience, including setting frameworks, coaching leaders, and driving high-performance culture.
- Extensive experience in compensation and benefits, organizational development, and change management.
- Ability to build inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory workplace practices and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data and metrics for decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at the executive level.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior CHRO or senior HR leadership experience in financial services
