Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Bhavnagar. The Cashier will handle daily cash transactions, process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all financial movements.

The role includes balancing cash registers, reconciling daily sales, and preparing basic reports for the finance team. The Cashier will also respond to customer payment queries, follow company policies for cash handling and security, and coordinate with accounting staff to ensure timely deposits and documentation.



Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures are critical to supporting smooth operations in a busy maritime services environment.

Qualifications

- Strong cash handling, point-of-sale operation, and basic accounting skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate transaction records, reconcile daily balances, and prepare simple financial summaries.
- Solid customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and problem-solving in payment-related interactions.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets and accounting or billing software; familiarity with MS Office or similar tools.
- High level of attention to detail, reliability, and integrity when managing cash and confidential information.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhavnagar, collaborate with operations and finance teams, and manage tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a cashier, teller, or front-office finance role is preferred; experience in marine or industrial services is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background such as a high school diploma; additional coursework in commerce, accounting, or finance is beneficial.
