CAMP IN-CHARGE

Job Summary The Camp In-Charge will be wholly responsible for the overall administration and management of the company's site camp, ensuring smooth operations, proper accommodation, cleanliness, hygiene, security, employee welfare and maintenance of all camp facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day administration and functioning of the site camp.
- Handle employee accommodation, room allocation and occupancy records.
- Supervise housekeeping, cleaning, security and maintenance staff.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and proper upkeep of rooms, washrooms, dining areas and common facilities.
- Coordinate with the Mess In-Charge for food services, dining arrangements and hygiene.
- Monitor availability of water, electricity and other essential facilities.
- Maintain camp discipline and handle employee grievances and welfare issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers.
- Monitor camp inventory,



consumables, procurement and administrative expenses.
- Maintain attendance, occupancy, maintenance and expense records.
- Ensure compliance with camp safety, security and sanitation standards.
- Submit regular camp administration reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in camp administration, site administration, hostel administration or facility management.
- Experience in managing labour camps, construction camps or industrial project sites preferred.
- Good manpower supervision and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, hygiene and inventory management.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel and reporting.
- Solid communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage camp operations at remote project locations.
