Role & responsibilities

Decoration Responsibilities

- Frost and finish cakes using whipped cream, ganache and buttercream

- Create smooth finishing and basic to premium cake designs

- Handle theme cakes, birthday cakes and customised orders

- Work on piping, chocolate work, fondant and aesthetic finishing

- Prepare cake toppers and decorative elements

Kitchen Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations

- Coordinate with kitchen staff and management

- Minimise wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients

- Support order packing during peak hours if required

Baking Responsibilities

- Handle baking operations independently

- Ensure consistency in taste, texture and quality

- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards

- Manage daily production planning and stock usage

- Assist in current product development





Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in cake baking and decoration

- Knowledge of whipped cream cakes, brownies and desserts preferred

- Basic knowledge of fondant and premium cake finishing preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

- Creativity and attention to detail

- Punctual, disciplined and team-oriented

- Passion for baking and learning new techniques
