Role & responsibilities

1.Identify and generate current business opportunities for exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, corporate events, annual days, product launches, meetings and conventions.

2.Develop and maintain relationships with exhibition organizers, corporates, associations, event agencies, government bodies and industry stakeholders.

3.Promote and sell exhibition halls, outdoor spaces, branding opportunities, meeting rooms and other event services based on client requirements.

4.Handle enquiries from initial discussion through site visits, proposal, quotation, negotiation and booking confirmation.

5.Understand client requirements and recommend suitable venue spaces, dates, configurations and commercial packages.

6.Proactively approach potential exhibitors, organizers and corporate companies to build a healthy sales pipeline.

7.Research market trends, upcoming exhibitions, corporate requirements and new business segments to identify growth opportunities.

8.Participate in industry networking events, trade shows,



exhibitions and business meetings to generate leads and strengthen market relationships.

9.Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and ensure timely closure of enquiries and bookings.

10.Monitor sales pipeline, revenue targets, occupancy and business forecasts and provide regular updates to management.

11.Support the team in developing long-term business relationships and strategic accounts .

Preferred candidate profile

Post graduation MBA, 7-10 years experience in Sales. Business Development in MICE Industry

Should be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills.

Should have proven track records of success

Sound understanding and exposure of exhibitions, conferences and events business.

Should have worked for leading organizations in any of the following industries - convention centres, exhibition centres, hospitality, MICE, Trade Bodies/Industry Assns. etc
