We are hiring a Business Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This role involves analyzing business data, understanding what the numbers mean, and turning them into clear recommendations that help teams make better decisions. Role & responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple business sources
- Understand business problems and translate them into data questions
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Track key business metrics (KPIs) and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders




- Gather and document business requirements for reports and analytics

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- 0 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or reporting (internships count)
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Good understanding of statistics and business metrics
