Role & responsibilities :

1. Business Requirement Gathering & Documentation

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand, elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to validate requirements and obtain necessary approvals.

2. Business & System Process Analysis

- Study existing business processes, workflows, and application functionalities.
- Perform As-Is and To-Be process analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and existing system capabilities.
- Identify process inefficiencies, manual dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Support business process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Analyze business and operational data using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare reports, trackers, dashboards, and management summaries.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and identification of data inconsistencies.
- Present analytical findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.

4. Application & Project Support

- Collaborate with development teams, application owners, and business users throughout the solution development lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation.
- Coordinate UAT activities, track defects, and support issue resolution.
- Maintain project documentation, action trackers, and status reports.
- Support application enhancements, change requests, and process improvement initiatives.

Automation & Digital Transformation

- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and reduction of repetitive manual activities.
- Support initiatives involving Power BI, Power Apps, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Explore AI-assisted tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve documentation, analysis, reporting, and operational productivity.
- Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and implement process automation solutions.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Business requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Business and system process analysis.
- Gap analysis and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to prepare BRD, FRD, process flow diagrams, and functional documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Valuable understanding of software applications and business workflows.

Preferred / Additional Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Power Query, and macros.
- Power BI: Data visualization, dashboard creation, and reporting.
- Microsoft Power Apps: Exposure to low-code application development.
- Automation / RPA: Understanding of workflow automation, Power Automate, or other RPA technologies.
- AI & Prompt Engineering: Ability to effectively use generative AI tools for business analysis, documentation, data interpretation, and productivity enhancement.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business applications.
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and UAT processes.
