Position: Branch Relationship Officer (BRO)

Department: Retail Branch Banking

Location: Branch Network

Grade: Officer / Assistant Manager (as applicable)

Role Purpose To drive customer acquisition, deepen existing customer relationships, and achieve business targets across liabilities, assets, and third-party products while delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Acquire new customers for Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, and other retail banking products.
- Cross-sell banking products including Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, and other retail products.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers to enhance engagement and retention.
- Generate referrals and business leads through branch walk-ins, customer interactions, and local market activities.
- Support branch sales initiatives and ensure achievement of assigned business targets.
- Handle customer queries, service requests, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, compliance, regulatory, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and update customer information in banking systems.




- Coordinate with branch operations and product teams to provide seamless customer service.
- Participate in branch marketing campaigns, customer meets, and lead-generation activities.

Educational Qualification

- 1 to 5 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Sales, or Relationship Management.
