Role: QA Automation Engineer API Testing

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API Testing and Rest Assured framework. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing API automation frameworks, validating microservices, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and API Testing.
- Solid hands-on experience with Rest Assured and Java.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API validation.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and API authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and database testing experience.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Exposure to Selenium automation.




- Knowledge of Kafka or messaging platforms.
- AWS or Azure cloud exposure.
- Performance testing knowledge is a plus.
