Responsibilities

- Installed, configured, and administered BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) infrastructure components.
- Developed, customized, and maintained automation scripts using BMC NSH (Network Shell) scripting language.
- Performed patch management activities including patch catalog creation, patch analysis, deployment, and verification.
- Managed configuration compliance by assessing servers against security standards.
- Created and maintained Depot Objects, BLPackages, Components, Smart Groups, and various deployment jobs.
- Executed application deployment, software distribution, and upgrade activities across enterprise environments.
- Performed server onboarding, agent installation, agent troubleshooting, and health monitoring activities.
- Administered operating system services, registries, file systems, permissions, and scheduled tasks.
- Monitored and resolved issues related to patching, compliance scans, deployments, and job executions.
- Creation and scheduled Batch Jobs, Deploy Jobs, Audit Jobs, Compliance Jobs.
- Integrated TSSA with enterprise tools for automated infrastructure management and reporting.
- Performed root cause analysis for automation failures and implemented preventive solutions.
- Supported large-scale server environments across Linux, Windows, and virtualized infrastructure platforms.

BMC TSO (TrueSight Orchestration)

Responsibilities

- Designed, developed, and maintained automation workflows using BMC TrueSight Orchestration (TSO).
- Automated server operational tasks including server restart, service stop/start, process management, and health checks.




- Knowledge of workflows for automation to create, copy, move, delete, modify files and folders and execute scrips on target servers.
- Implemented CSV file processing workflows for bulk server and user administration activities.
- Integrated workflows with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Database, REST API, and Web Service adapters.
- Configured automated email notifications and alerts for workflow success, failure, and exception handling.
- Scheduled workflows for execution at predefined times
- Developed automated remediation workflows based on events, alerts, and incident tickets.
- Knowledge to create workflows for password reset, file transfer, service monitoring, server maintenance, and user provisioning.
- Used XPath expressions for XML parsing and context item manipulation within workflows.
- Implemented decision-making logic using Assign, Switch, For Each, Spawn, Utility, Script, and Adapter activities.
- Integrated TSO with BMC Remedy and ServiceNow for ticket-driven automation and incident resolution workflows.
- Generated execution logs, audit reports, and workflow status notifications for operational teams.

Required Skill:
- Hands-on experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA).
- Hands-on experience with BMC TrueSight Orchestration (TSO) / Atrium Orchestrator.
- Knowledge of NSH Scripting, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting and Automation.
- CMDB Integration & Reconciliation
- Experience with Windows and Linux Server Administration.
- Knowledge of Patch Management, Compliance Management, and Software Deployment.
- Expertise in REST API, Web Services, and Database Integrations.
- Good understanding of XPath and XML Processing.
- Experience integrating automation workflows with ServiceNow, Remedy CMDB or other ITSM platforms.
