The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining bar operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards. The role requires good beverage knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes.

- Welcome guests warmly and follow Namaskar and guest greeting standards.

- Take beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly.

- Have good knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages.

- Recommend beverages to guests and promote upselling.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and storage areas.

- Ensure proper garnishing, presentation, and portion control of beverages.

- Monitor bar inventory, stock levels, and daily consumption.

- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of beverage stock.

- Follow standard operating procedures for beverage preparation and service.

- Maintain accurate billing and ensure proper POS operations.

- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

- Coordinate with the Restaurant and F&B; Service teams for smooth operations.





- Ensure responsible service of alcohol in accordance with applicable laws and hotel policies.

- Maintain bar requisitions, breakage records, and daily stock reports.

- Follow personal grooming, uniform, hygiene, and professional conduct standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or relevant hospitality qualification.

- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender.

- Knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation.

- Good communication and guest-handling skills.

- Knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.

- Strong upselling and customer service abilities.

- Knowledge of bar inventory and cost control.

- Ability to work versatile shifts.
