Role & responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary-grade students.
- Teach fundamental concepts such as numbers, arithmetic, shapes, measurements, and problem-solving.
- Use interactive teaching methods, activities, worksheets, and teaching aids to simplify mathematical concepts.
- Assess students progress through tests, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
- Provide individual attention and additional support to students who need it.
- Maintain academic records and communicate students progress to parents and management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in primary grades.
- Strong command of Mathematics concepts and effective communication skills.
- Ability to engage young learners through activity-based and student-centric teaching methods.
- Good classroom management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment methods is preferred.
