Job Summary

IP network intelligence team in Pune is looking for a recent senior C++ team-member to join forces in the world of IP protocols and deep packet inspection. You will be working with IP teams across Cognyte at Israel and Bulgaria.

Responsibilities

- Research and reverse engineer IP communication protocols.
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code for deep packet inspection of IP traffic.
- Work closely with architects and product owners to contribute to overall architecture and system design.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices; provide mentoring and professional guidance to junior colleagues.

Requirements

For that mission you ll need:

- 5+ years of professional experience with C++, working experience with templates, STL, boost libraries.
- B.Sc. in computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent degree




- Knowledge of networking and IP protocols (all layers including application layer)
- Experience with developing large scale and complex system solutions.
- Experience with developing networking applications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with packet inspection tools is an advantage.
- Solution orientation and "can do" attitude with a desire to tackle complex problems.
- A team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Excellent English - verbal and written.
