Role & responsibilities

- Perform HMC/VMC machine Programming/setting and setup as per production requirements and approved process parameters.
- Handling Manpower & Allocation
- Shift Supervisor
- Set and align jobs, fixtures, tools, and workpieces according to engineering drawings and setup instructions.
- Load and verify programs, set tool offsets, and adjust machining parameters to ensure accurate production.
- Conduct first-piece inspection after machine setup and obtain approval from the Quality Department before starting batch production.
- Ensure machines operate as per the approved process sheet, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine-setting, tooling, fixture, and machining-related problems to minimize downtime.
- Monitor tool wear, tool life,



and cutting conditions; replace or adjust tools when required.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department for in-process inspection, rejection analysis, and corrective actions.
- Guide machine operators on correct machine operation, job loading/unloading, and adherence to work instructions.
- Monitor cycle time and machine performance to achieve production targets without compromising quality or safety.
- Maintain setup records, tool-change records, first-piece inspection records, and other required production documentation.
- Ensure proper handling of measuring instruments, tools, fixtures, and machining components.
- Support current-part development, trial runs, process improvement activities, and cycle-time reduction initiatives as assigned.
