Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic engineering graduates who are passionate about mechanical design and product development. The selected candidates will work with engineering teams on 3D modelling, engineering drawings, component design, design calculations, and product-development activities.
This opportunity is ideal for students who have built solid mechanical engineering fundamentals through coursework, academic projects, internships, Formula Student/BAJA-type projects, or technical clubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings.
- Support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Apply engineering fundamentals while performing basic design calculations and component selection.
- Apply GD&T;, fits, tolerances, and engineering drawing principles.
- Assist engineers with design reviews, prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Support preparation and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Consider manufacturability while designing components using basic DFM/DFA principles.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, testing, and quality teams.
- Learn and apply relevant engineering standards, processes, and design tools.
Technical Skills We Look For

- Autodesk Inventor
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest in mechanical design and product development.
- Good engineering fundamentals and logical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on involvement in academic/design projects rather than only theoretical knowledge.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new CAD/CAE tools and engineering processes.
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate in engineering teams.
Preferred Exposure
Any of the following would be an advantage:
- Final-year project involving product/component design
- CAD modelling and assembly projects
- Formula Student, BAJA, robotics, automotive, EV, or similar student projects
