About the Role- We are looking for an experienced finance skilled to lead the Record-to-Report (RTR) function for the Insurance business.

The role involves managing month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the day-to-day Record-to-Report (RTR) operations for the insurance business.
2. Manage month-end and financial closing activities within deadlines.
3. Oversee preparation, review, and posting of journal entries.
4. Ensure accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
5. Prepare and review financial reports for management.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
7. Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation.
8. Coordinate with internal teams such as Actuarial, Underwriting, and Claims.
9. Lead, guide, and mentor team members.
10. Monitor process performance and share regular updates with senior management.

What Are We Looking For?

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.



CA/CPA qualification will be an added advantage.
2. 10+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) within the insurance industry.
3. Strong understanding of month-end closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
4. Knowledge of insurance accounting and financial reporting.
5. Familiarity with IFRS 17 and local accounting standards.
6. Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
7. Advanced Excel skills.
8. Prior experience in team management and stakeholder handling.
9. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
